Wi-Fi reset internal adapter

How to reset a Wi-Fi adapter in a laptop with Windows 10.

Sometimes your laptop will see and may be even lock onto your Wi-Fi access point with a good signal strength but no data transfers and it seems like your internet is off.

In many cases you need to disable and re enable your wireless device in your laptop.

Click the Right mouse button over the Wi-Fi icon and select ‘Open Network & Internet Settings‘


Select ‘Ethernet‘


Select ‘Change adapter settings”

Select the ‘WiFi‘

Select ‘Disable‘ then select ‘Enable‘
