TP-Link TD-W9970

The TP Link TD-W9970 has been our staple router for years and is still a popular choice for SoGEA and FTTP services.

For WAN use, LAN socket 4 is converted from Lan to WAN.

After resetting the router, IP into it 192.168.1.1 admin / admin


First, set the router to work in ‘Wireless Router Mode’, as above.


Just follow the instructions as normal.

Don’t forget to put a sticker on the top of the router pointing to the LAN4/WAN socket at the back of the router for the ONT to be connected to.
