Single PSTN line order with ADSL/FTTC

Place an order for one service, i.e. a Residential or Business PSTN service, including Multi-Line Aux and Single Lines. Can support ADSL or FTTC simultaneous broadband provision.

Bar Use of Call Return (1471, FREE)) (optional)

1471 tells you the last number that called - unless the caller withheld their number by dialling '141' before dialling your number, or the call came from a switchboard extension number. 1471 also lets you return the call straight away, by pressing '3'. 1471 is always active and useful even if you have an answering machine. If you want to restrict the ability to use this service, select Bar Use of Call Return (1471).

Reminder Call (£1.20 + VAT / month)

Reminder Call acts like an alarm clock on your phone - your phone will ring at the time you program it to. Maybe you need a repeat reminder every day, or perhaps you need a one-off call to remind you to do something. You push a couple of buttons to activate the service and then enter the time and date you want to be reminded. Amending a Reminder Call is just as easy.

Call Sign (£1.20 + VAT / month)

Call sign allows you to assign an individual ringtone to calls from certain numbers. We will give you an additional number for your phone, which will have a separate ringing tone when it is called. You can give your Call Sign number to as many callers as you choose. For example, you can use it to separate business calls or calls from fax machines.

Call Waiting (£1.20 + VAT / per month)

A feature whereby a person engaged in a telephone call is notified by a tone that a second call is being made to the same number, and is able to talk to either party while keeping the other on hold.

Messaging Product (optional)

WHOLESALE 1571 Wholesale 1571 is an answering service that allows callers to leave a message if you are unable to answer, or if the line is engaged. You can access your mailbox from your landline, another landline, or from a mobile. Wholesale 1571 Greeting allows you to record your own greeting for callers to hear. Both options can store up to 20 messages, and messages can be up to 2 minutes long. Messages are stored for 20 days, or for 60 days if they are unheard. CALL MINDER Call Minder allows callers to leave a message when you are unavailable or your line is engaged. You can record your own personalised message and can retrieve your messages remotely from any landline phone, or your mobile.

Caller Display (optional)

A service that allows one to see who is calling before he or she answers a telephone call.

Care level

Subject to prevailing weather conditions, staff availability etc - this is a best endeavour's solution giving you priority over other outages elsewhere.

Care Level 1. Clear by 23.59 day after next, Monday to Friday, excluding Public and Bank Holidays. For example, report Tuesday, clear Thursday. (Standard FREE)

Care Level 2. Clear by 23.59 next day, Monday to Saturday, excluding Public and Bank Holidays. For example, report Tuesday, clear Wednesday. £1.70 + VAT / month)

Care Level 3. Report 13.00, clear by 23.59 same day. Report after 13.00 clear by 12.59 next day, seven days a week, including Public and Bank Holiday.

Care Level 4. Clear within 6 hours, any time of day, any day of the year.

Call Baring

Customer Controlled You can bar certain types of calls from being made from your phone or bar incoming calls. Customer controlled call barring allows you to put barring in place, cancel and check if it’s enabled. Calls to emergency services and freephone numbers (0800 and 0500) are never blocked. Outbound Call Barring All This service bars all outbound calls. Outbound Call Barring for Premium Rate Services This service bars all outbound calls to UK premium rate numbers. Outbound Call Barring for Premium Rate Services and International Calls This service bars all outbound calls to UK premium rate and International numbers.

Daily Alert Spend

Fraud Alerts. Free Credit Protector. If a number reaches a spend limit an email or SMS can be sent out to warn you. If the barring limit is reached, all outgoing calls can be barred and an email can be sent informing you of this. Alerts are sent to the CPS Call Alerts email address set on the personal details page.
