Video conferenceing screen installations

Here are a few pick of sample Video Conferencing screen installations.

Clients have varying needs and resources so hopefully, the solutions depicted below will suit you.

The optimal solution is to have your display mounted on a wall and not have any visible cables. Some clients will need a PC to operate teh screen which will mean it needs to be networked. We always recommend that the PC be wired to your internet service – not Wireless.

If your display is networkable (almost all are) then it would be usual to have it wired to your network as well.

If you are using a TV as your display, then you may use its internal speakers.

Boardroom installation – this system uses a hidden PC, wireless keyboard and mouse, bluetooth microphone and speaker. Both the display and the PC are wired to the network. Please note the complete absence of visible cabling
This display uses an old PC to run the video conferencing. The HDMI cable from the PC is connected to a HDMI socket in the trunking leaving a very tidy finish – you probably see why we prefer to hide the OC behind the display
Display with the camera on top
Close up of the Displays mains plug with its cable buried into the trunking for tidiness
Close up of the HDMI cable socket in the trunking
Ordinary Logitech camera – suitable for single person or very small groups
Partially installed video conferencing system with the speakers mounted on the trunking. When complete, the micro PC will not be visible and its power button will be accessible. Please note, this pic does not show the micro PC mounted in its proper bracket which was later installed
65″ interactive screen mounted (by Christopher) – note – no visible cables here either
Interactive display in action with yours truley
This pick was taken before the installation was completed
Very early plasma screen installation. This display connected to a PC by HDMI – the socket for it was at the rear of the conference room so the operator could control everything out of sight of the clients

Hopefully, you will get some idea of the various options open to you when you are deciding how to mount your large screen for display or video conferencing.
