Network cabling without a cabinet

There are occasions when we must provide a network cabling solution without a 19″ cabinet. This may be because of lack of space or to save unnecessary cost or it may simply not be needed.

This page has been created to demonstrate optional solutions to clients, electricians, security camera installers etc.

Simple 8 port hub with the network cables going straight into the trunking

In the above pic, the hub is mounted facing down to the trunking. The hub may be mounted in any orientation.

This compact solution was for a small bar and includes, ONT, Router, hardware Wi-Fi controller 8 port switch and a POE injector for one of the WAPS

16 port hub mounted under the trunking to save space and allow the client to view the nice lights

There was nowhere else to put the cables and tethe electrician had already wired mains and the network cables to here so this layout was the only option – that’s me by the way
