Teams installation

Teams is available to run on most platforms ant the technique for downloading and installing it is different for each device.

The online version


Simply go to teams.microsoft.com and sign in with your microsoft login credentials.

Windows computer


If Teams is not already installed on your computer you can download it here.

Apple computer


Open google.co.uk and search for ‘Microsoft teams download’. Make sure the link points to a genuine Microsoft web site and then select the appropriate download button. Follow the prompts. I know this is a bit vague but the actual location may change from time to time.

Android phone

  • Open the Google Play store
  • Search for ‘Microsoft Teams’.
  • Select ‘Install’.
  • Select open when completed.

Apple phone


Download and install from the Apple App Store.

  • Go to the App Store
  • Search for ‘Microsoft Teams’.
  • Select ‘Search’.
  • Select ‘Get’. Select ‘Confirm’ and allow Microsoft Teams to be installed on your iPhone.
  • Select ‘Open’.


The new Teams icon should be available on your desktop screen.
